HOW IT ALL STARTED...

Samus Jay started DJing in 1996 playing college parties, and after gaining popularity for his skills at Underage Nightclubs & Functions, he then decided to change course. He decided to edit and compose the art of music, instead of just playing it. Over the following years, he adopted the talent of megamixing.

His hybrid style of megamixing sent him to DJ at most popular known venues in Melbourne. Venues such as Silvers, QBH, Metro, Aqua Lounge, Aura Lounge, Vanilla Night Club, Hi-Fi Bar & Lounge, Next Blue & Chasers. At many times around, Samus has also offered his services to Charity events for the Royal Children Hospital in Melbourne. After quitting the DJ scene as a full time role, Samus decided to devote his spare time in producing megamixes and remixes. This has also given him the reputation to many mixmasters across the globe.

At only 23 years old, Samus Jay has accomplished many CD Releases. CD's that have been signed by seperate record across the globe.

Before time could catch up with his skills, he was well respected in his town, and was soon well known world-wide. From Germany, Denmark, U.S.A., Brasil, to The Netherlands. Being interviewed on radio stations such as Swift Impulse, Essential Rhythm, In The Mix Radio, Club Cow, Hitz FM and Kix FM owner Paul B.

In 2004, Samus Jay signed a contract with IAM Records, consisiting of producing remixes. In 2004, one of the most anticipated Urban Megamixes was released, deluxe 2004. This mix was done out of the respect of the Djs who completed Deluxe 2002 & 2003.

At only 26 years old, Samus Jay has accomplished many CD Releases.
His remixes of Those Were The days, featuring the vocals of Mary Hopkins reached top 6 in the European Charts.

His most popular European Release was the Ultimate 90's Megamix with over 3 million people hearing it. The Ultimate 90s Megamix boosted Samus Jay's reputation to the European Mix Scene giving him an award by IAM INC for one of Melbourne's Best Megamixer.
